truly appalling display tonight. These guys just played that game like it was in November. That didn't play poorly but that was not anything close to what you need this time of year to win games. Kiprusoff, Regehr, and Lombardi with excellent games. Iginla is in the process of blowing this season. He is responsible first and foremost. The amount of grade A chances he has blown the last two games is inexcusable. Tonight, he wasn't engaged in the game, period. Tanguay gets paid 5 million to never ever shoot the puck under any circumstances. I believe strongly that if he shoots on that chance early in the period the Flames could have won this game. As bad as those two were, the big off season acquisition, Sarich, was the worst player on the ice by a country mile.

These guys walk a fine line between a high character team and just a bunch of losers. How you can show up and sleepwalk through the 2nd last game of the season with a chance to clinch a playoff spot is truly extraordinary.
